So, I randomly decided to watch the show Heroes (2006) and it’s literally incredible. It’s about this group of people who all discover they have superpowers due to human beings evolving. In the story, one of the characters, Isaac, has the ability to paint the future and he paints New York being blown up on November 8. Hiro Nakamura, has the ability to bend time and space (stop time, slow time, teleport, and time travel) and accidentally time travels to the day of the explosion. After traveling back to the present, he decides it’s his destiny to save the world and travels to America with his friend, Ando. Hiro speaks virtually no English, so all of his scenes are in Japanese (which I think is pretty good progressive for a show in the early 2000s). Hiro is a very sweet, funny, and determined comic book nerd who loves heroism and every scene with him in it is both hilarious and heartwarming. I love him very muchhhhh!!!! 

      My go to ice-breaker this year has been to ask everyone their favorite princess/Disney movie, since I was a big Disney kid growing up. I was also a Disney Channel fanatic, so I’ve been meeting other people who are just as passionate about Disney Channel Original Movies/shows and started discourse about which ones were the best. Let It Shine and Lemonade Mouth are the best DCOMS though and no one can change my mind on that. So anyway, what’s your favorite Disney movie/show lol.

  For this assignment, I rewatched my favorite episode (Season 1, episode 12) from my second favorite anime, Mob Psycho 100. In this absolutely peak episode, Mob (the incredibly powerful psychic protagonist), Reigen Arataka (his fake psychic mentor), and a band of other psychics work together to take down the Claw 7th Division (a group of psychics who wish to take over the world and rule over non-psychics), who kidnapped Mob’s brother, Ritsu. After defeating Claw’s lackeys, the group of psychics (plus Reigen) meet the heads of the Division and Mob prepares to fight them. However, Reigen steps in and refuses to let Mob fight, since Mob is only a child and shouldn't have to deal with that burden, especially since Reigen taught him that his powers shouldn’t be used to harm others. The relief Mob feels after Reigen takes responsibility for their safety is so great that Mob temporarily transfers all his power to Reigen, who easily defeats Claw.
