OPM Season 3 is finally here, guys!

 



Soooooo, I’ve been waiting for One Punch Man Season 3 for years. I started watching the anime in 2018, and it immediately became my favorite anime of all time. I’ve read the manga in its entirety, twice. I loveeeee Saitama, he’s super cool. But anyways, Season 3 is finally out after six years (holy cow) and the animation is kinda bad. There was like no movement of the characters in the first like two episodes and the internet was making fun of the show quite heavily. I love the franchise too much to care, but i agreed it was pretty bad. Luckily, it got a bit better in the newer episodes and I’m much more excited for the upcoming episodes. I just can’t wait to see the Cosmic Garou and Saitama fight! However, I’m not excited to see the rest of the Monster Association fights (except Tatsumaki’s) because they go on for so long in the manga and get really annoying. Anyway, watch OPM Season 3 on Hulu.

  For this assignment, I rewatched my favorite episode (Season 1, episode 12) from my second favorite anime, Mob Psycho 100. In this absolutely peak episode, Mob (the incredibly powerful psychic protagonist), Reigen Arataka (his fake psychic mentor), and a band of other psychics work together to take down the Claw 7th Division (a group of psychics who wish to take over the world and rule over non-psychics), who kidnapped Mob’s brother, Ritsu. After defeating Claw’s lackeys, the group of psychics (plus Reigen) meet the heads of the Division and Mob prepares to fight them. Fujii Kaze My Beloved

 So, this is the incredibly talented Fujii Kaze singing his amazing song, Shinunoga Ii-wa. This performance is beautiful and his vocals and the instrumental are just so perfect together. The piano solo in the beginning and the drums are amazingggg. I found this song through TikTok like two years ago and obsessively listened to it for like a week straight. I also really like the lyrics. Fujii is singing about loving someone so much he’d rather die than not be with them (even saying he’d starve to be with her). I think the possessive and kind of creepy undertones of the song are really cool and he performs it in a way you can feel his obsession. He’s tooooo good.

Disney-brained

      My go to ice-breaker this year has been to ask everyone their favorite princess/Disney movie, since I was a big Disney kid growing up. I was also a Disney Channel fanatic, so I’ve been meeting other people who are just as passionate about Disney Channel Original Movies/shows and started discourse about which ones were the best. Let It Shine and Lemonade Mouth are the best DCOMS though and no one can change my mind on that. So anyway, what’s your favorite Disney movie/show lol.
